The Zeta Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., despite worldwide pandemics, set a record in this year's March of Dimes March for Babies campaign in bringing in over $17,591.00 in donations and is second to all chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, inc. and first in the DMV area of DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia of all Divine Nine organizations that participated in the fundraiser this year. Fundraising during this year's campaign was challenging, to say the least, but the chapter's team took the challenge and adapted in raising funds.

The campaign initially started out with a modest goal of $5,000.00. As the team's membership and support grew the team soon realized that they would easily reach their goal. Needless to say, the goal has been increased six times and is currently set at $20,000.00. The team worked hard at reaching out to donors through emails, texts, and phone calls. This effort was led by team captains Rory Miott and Myriffeah Howard. Their efforts for this year's campaign are gladly appreciated.

If you have not yet donated, it is not too late to give your support. Join us by helping every mom and their families experience joy in the birth of a healthy baby. By supporting the March for Babies campaign you are helping raise awareness, finding solutions, and advocate for policies that prioritize mom and baby health.
